Goodna State Special School educates and supports students with an intellectual disability in Prep through to Year 12. Students attending GSSS may also have an additional disability including an autism spectrum disorder, physical impairment, hearing or vision impairment.
Parents and carers of children with disabilities who are of compulsory schooling age (five years to school leaving age) should contact the principal for details of the enrolment process which involves regional office approval. This will be explained by the principal.
For children of compulsory school age, enrolment is subject to the process outlined in Education Queensland’s Procedure: Enrolment in State Primary, Secondary and Special Schools which can be located on the Department of Education, Training and Employment website.
Families seeking enrolment at Goodna Special School are welcome to email the principal at principal@goodnaspecs.eq.edu.au to make further enquiries.
