In Lower Secondary at Goodna Special School, students continue to build upon the foundational skills built in primary in ways that are appropriate to each student's individual development and skillset. All junctures continue to engage with the Australian Curriculum in ways that are age appropriate and relevant to their abilities.
In Lower Secondary, students begin participating in more transitions and take more responsibility and ownership over their own learning. This may include participating in reading groups and electives.
